Make a Contribution

Greetings,

The Ann Arbor Host Lions Club has served the needs of the Ann Arbor community for over 81 years!  Thanks to the generosity of others, we are able to continue our legacy of providing vision, hearing and humanitarian support for those in need living in Ann Arbor and beyond.

We serve as "Knights of the Blind" for our community!

Here are just a few of the services provided by our Lions Club in the past year:

  • Helped fund eye exams and glasses for 125 Ann Arbor residents

  • Wrapped and delivered 2,000 books as holiday gifts for Ann Arbor seniors

  • Filled 47 school backpacks for Ann Arbor elementary and middle school students

  • Purchased 10 talking watches for patients with new onset blindness at the University of Michigan

  • Provided five Thanksgiving food baskets to local families

  • Contributed funds to buy special contact lenses for an Ann Arbor citizen who has Keratoconus to help her see clearly

  • Funded a preliminary eye exam for a woman in need of a corneal transplant

  • Teamed with the Ann Arbor Community Center to offer a Family Fun Health Fair

  • Contributed funds to the Wild Swan Theatre and Habitat for Humanity

  • Provided funding for statewide projects such as the Michigan Eye-Bank, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Penrickton Center for the Blind, Radio Talking Books, Red Cross Local Relief, and The Salvation Army’s Youth Camp

In an effort to continue and perhaps even expand our service to the community in 2010, we hope you will consider supporting our efforts by sending a contribution to:  Ann Arbor Host Lions Club, P.O. Box 3440, Ann Arbor MI 48106.  100% of the contributions received by the Ann Arbor Host Lions go directly back into our community.

Thank you in advance and please know that you are always invited to attend our meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12:00 p.m. at the Ann Arbor City Club.

Sincerely,

Collin Ross, President
