The Ann
Arbor Host Lions Club thanks its 24 generous recycling partners below and their
customers for helping us collect over 100,000 pairs of recycled eyeglasses in
the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and Belleville community!
These eyeglasses help the children and adults in developing nations see clearly. At the mere cost of eight cents, people receive a pair of eyeglasses to help them read, learn, work and most importantly, live a better life!
Imagine what clear vision means to a child – an improved educational experience, healthier growth and better quality of life. For an adult, it opens doors for better employment and compensation.
There are 153 million reasons to help Lions Recycle for Sight, which is the number of people who have uncorrected refractive errors (astigmatism, far-sightedness or near-sightedness). Thank you for helping us make a difference.
