Welcome to the Ann
Arbor Host Lions Club Web site!
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest community service organization consisting of 1.35 million members in 45,000 clubs worldwide in over 200 countries. These active men and women work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Our motto is “We Serve.”
Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions give sight by conducting vision screenings, recycling eyeglasses, raising awareness of eye diseases and providing other sight conservation programs. In addition, Lions serve their communities in a wide variety of projects ranging from giving Thanksgiving feasts for families, to helping local students achieve positive goals in school and life through COPE to wrapping and giving over 2,000 books to local seniors.
The Ann Arbor Host Lions Club was the first Lions Club to be chartered in Ann Arbor in 1929. Now, 81 years later, we continue to provide support and voluntary services to those in need.
