Welcome to the Ann Arbor Host Lions Club!

Founded in 1929, We Serve the communities of Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, at 12 noon, at the Quarter Bistro. We also meet the third Wednesday of each month, 6pm, at Bagger Dave's on Eisenhower Parkway.

Our Mission

As a part of Lions International, the world's largest voluntary service organization, we provide services to those in need. Our particular focus is in the areas of vision and hearing assistance.

What We Do

Here is just a sample of the services the Lions provide in our community:

  • Assistance with eyeglasses, eye exams and hearing aids for those in need.
  • Vision screenings for pre-school age children.
  • Eyeglass recycling.
  • Thanksgiving food baskets for families in need.
  • Care packages for members of the armed forces overseas.
  • Monetary donations, through Lions fundraising efforts, to community organizations serving the visually impaired, hearing impaired, disabled and youth.
